JR Costales
My name is Jr Costales and I'm from the Philippines. I graduated from the University of Cordilleras in Baguio City, the well-known "Summer Capital of the Philipines."
I worked my way through college by teaching in a Korean school for four years until I graduated.
I have been teaching in Kunming for more than two years. I have a passion for teaching children and experience great joy from being around them. I work hard to serve my school and its students and to be worthy of my employer's trust.
Knowing the students well is my first law regarding teaching. Patience towards the students is my second law. I believe that a good teacher must be loved and feared at the same time by his students. I am idealistic teacher with realistic expectations. I'm open to modern methods of teaching such as mixing games with the lessons to have fun while the students are learning for them to get interested and motivated. I also believe that learning is a lifetime journey. The maxim "Fortune favors the bold" fascinates me to be adventurous on that journey through life. Mabuhay!
